Soon to appear: Aventura de las hormigas / Ants, a tale of formic proportions

Written in Cuba in 1888 by Esteban Borrero Echeverría, AVENTURA DE LAS HORMIGAS / ANTS, A TALE OF FORMIC PROPORTIONS is a satirical allegory that reveals aspects of the frustration and alienation faced by the individual in an unjust society. The insight, erudition and imagination of the work invites us to immerse ourselves in its reading. Both the original work in Spanish and the translation into English are accompanied by extensive, explanatory notes that help the reader overcome barriers of understanding. In her English translation, Rosario Gómez has aptly captured the style and essence of this imaginative work.
