(ENG) Expanded spaces in poetry and music

Facing difficulty with creativity is one way of framing how we operate in life, as we are fueled by hope, purpose, and belonging. This same desire prompts us to ask questions about the infinite, and about our place within it.
In my project, I will take a page from this dynamic, this “engine of the soul”, as Luigi Giussani might have called it, in which I set out to interpret the epic search for destiny by drawing upon key figures, such as Giacomo Leopardi, Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, among others. I intend to explore the idea of Destiny, as it stands in relation to Fate, Chance, and Liberty; more specifically, as the context of liberty -a problematization of fate energized by Chance.
